Market success for Audio Ltd’s DX2040

Audio Ltd's new DX2040 true diversity receiver has been well-received by the market, with sales increasing steadily.
“The flexibility delivered by the wider switching bandwidth offers a significant advantage,” said Kishore Patel, Managing Director, Audio Ltd. The DX2040, the latest addition to Audio's RMS2040 range of radio microphone systems, has 32 pre-programmed frequencies and a switching bandwidth of up to 24MHz. We know our customers’ priority is finding free frequencies. So we have incorporated wider bandwidth into the design of the DX2040 and we have also placed the AudiR for Palm software onto our website for easy download – this incorporates a scan facility allowing the user to check for free frequencies." The receiver has Audio's unique infrared interface allowing the user to set all parameters via the SwitchiR, a keyfob-sized remote control unit.
Another feature of the DX2040 welcomed by professional sound recordists is the fact that it is now powered by standard batteries - two 1.5V AA type batteries give up to five hours use. A standard six pin Lemo connector interface allows existing output cables to be used and the receiver is fully backwards compatible with transmitters from Audio's previous RMS2020 and RMS2000 ranges. The DX2040 receiver adds even greater flexibility to a system that is already proving very popular because of the consistently high quality of sound it delivers,” said Mr Patel. “It will be joined later this year by an innovative new mini-transmitter that we are developing in response to customer demand.”
The RMS2040 range includes the TX2040, RK2040, HX2040 and the innovative Control X device.
