DNE choose Tyrell for Avid installation
Tyrell, the leading provider of technology to the UK postproduction and broadcast industry, have announced the installation of three Avid Media Composer systems at Discovery Networks Europe.
Based in Great Portland Street, London, the offline systems will be used by an award-winning team of ten promo producers and DNE’s programming staff.
Discovery Networks Europe have been a user of Avid equipment for over five years, and the new systems will be linked by tie-line and onto the company’s own IT network. All three systems will be used daily for promo, filler and programming production.
Paul Newman, Director Network Operations for DNE, said: “Being existing Avid users at DNE we have introduced the new systems to enhance our output and technical capabilities using equipment that is easy for all our staff to use. Tyrell recognised our needs and provided DNE with quality project management throughout.”
