PRODUCTION COMPANIES AWARDED £64,000

TELIESYN, Siriol Productions and Concordia Cyf, three independent production companies from Wales, were awarded a total of £64,000 in project development funding at the last MEDIA round.
Cardiff based Teliesyn will use the loan to develop a comedy screen play for a feature film called ‘Dewis Teg – Fair Choice’, to be shot in both Welsh and English.
It is an ensemble piece set in the South Wales Valleys and the red light district of Hamburg.
Siriol Productions, the largest animation studio in Wales, were awarded a MEDIA development loan for a production called ‘360’- an 80 minute feature film about a disfunctional family.
Llanelli based Concordia Cyf. plan to use their funding to develop an Irish co-production called ‘The War Detectives’, which is a 4x60 minute series that follows the UN’s war crime investigators.
