APT helps Eleven Engineering deliver even better audio fidelity

Eleven Engineering has signed a licensing agreement with Belfast-based APT, which will enable the company to incorporate APT’s groundbreaking apt-X algorithm into its XInC2 wireless processor.
Alberta-based Eleven Engineering will now be including apt-X as standard in its digital wireless audio platform Squeak 1.5, which is designed for high performance, short-range digital wireless HiFi audio. The company will also offer apt-X as an option in Squeak 1C for low power applications.
John Sobota, CEO of Eleven Engineering, says the decision to license apt-X will enable the company to deliver even better audio quality to its customers.
"Of the available low-latency audio codecs, apt-X delivers the best audio fidelity and works perfectly with Eleven's new XInC2 wireless processor. We are delighted to be working with APT to deliver enhanced fidelity solutions to Eleven's existing and new Squeak digital wireless audio module customers."
The Squeak product line is ideal for both wireless stereo and home theatre applications because it gives users the option of locating speakers in areas that are not suitable for speaker or AV cable.
