The London Studios add Calrec console to LTC studio

The London Studios have added a 16-channel Calrec C2 to their Sound Control Room One at the London Television Centre.
The console is the tenth Calrec console The London Studios have installed and will replace a Calrec Compact as a grams mixer, alongside a large-format T Series console in Studio One.
The London Studios operate three T Series desks, four C2's and two M3 Minimixers.
Studios One and Two at the London Television cover a variety of live to air programming, including 'SMTV', 'Blind Date' and the 'Audience with…' series, as well as 'Graham Norton V' for Channel Four.
"Introducing the C2 brings Studio One in line with Studios Two and Three. All three main light entertainments studios are now equipped with a T Series and C2 grams mixer as standard, which simplifies things enormously," said Technical Projects Manager Paul Drewitt.
The desk is scheduled to go live in January 2003.
