Marquis Broadcast Launches Operal V3 at NAB 2006

Marquis Broadcast, specialists in broadcast workflow studies and software solutions, will be launching a major new upgrade to its Operal workflow design tool at NAB 2006 with the launch of version 3.0.
Designed for all broadcasting processes, this new software will feature workflow modelling and graphics-based process tools, enabling users to more easily identify potential workflow bottlenecks. Operal will also support additional industry standard interfaces for seamless integration with BPM (business process management) systems for use in larger broadcasting operations using forms-driven process monitoring.
Marquis will also be demonstrating extended features for The Drain, its cost-effective software utility that allows video sequences created on Avid editing systems to be transferred quickly and easily to a server for immediate playback.
Finally, Marquis will be announcing support for Apple Final Cut Pro and Sony XPRI editing systems for its Medway media exchange software.
