PANTECHNICON CENTRES ON PANORAMIC VINEYARD
CHELSEA based production company Pantechnicon have been contracted by England’s largest wine estate, Denbies, to develop a state-of-the-art 360°video feature for the Denbies Visitor Centre in Dorking, Surrey.
Using a specially constructed camera unit, designed by John Landon of Pantechnicon and built by Calmels Design & Construction, Pantechnicon will be taking to the skies over Box Hill later this year to shoot the 265 acres of vineyard in full panorama. Miles Cumpstey, Pantechnicon ’s Head of Video, will handle post production using Pantechnicon’s Avid facility.
While Pantechnicon produces the software, the installation and project management is being overseen by Harpers AV of Woking. Shooting around the vineyard and Visitor Centre has already begun and work will be completed in April 2001.
Pantechnicon have produced a variety of multi-screen programmes for use in different parts of the world since 1984.
