Dutch cable broadcasters rely on Zandar

In one of Europe's highest penetration cable markets, Zandar multi viewers are systems of choice for all the major cable companies across The Netherlands.
Broadcasting across key regions, Casema, CAI Westland, Rekam, and Cogas to name but a few, rely on Zandar technology to deliver programming 24/7, every day of the year for their subscription and Pay Per View services.
Zandar's experience in the cable industry is second to none which is reflected in the VMX and DX Series multi viewer product lines which are used worldwide for viewing station output channels and creating mosaic displays.
In the head-end of cable operator Rekam in Breda, a 64 channel MX series unit is used to monitor it's output channels in a single mosaic display, saving space and reducing equipment costs.
CAI Westland displays 49 pips (picture in picture) on a single mosaic that is broadcast to it's analogue network via a VMX unit, with a DX MultiViewer used to overlay additional images for distribution to its digital channels. Viewers with the appropriate set top boxes can preview programmes running simultaneously on pay per view channels before deciding to select their preferred choice. This type of TV Guide is very popular and saves viewers time in deciding what to watch.
In a unique sports application national cable provider UPC shows live European Champions League Soccer matches simultaneously on different channels. Viewers at home can monitor the progress of all matches on the preview channels whilst watching their preferred PPV choice at the same time, using a Zandar DX Series system.
As the originators and innovators of multi image viewers, Zandar's technology is assisting TV stations worldwide to meet the ever increasing challenges of a multi channel world. (CD/SP)
