Imago sign deal with NEC-Mitsubishi

Imago, the UK's premier video communications distributor, has just signed an agreement with NEC-Mitsubishi to sell the monitor manufacturer's large format presentation LCD screens.
NEC-Mitsubishi selected Imago specifically to target the audio visual and video conferencing markets in which it specialises.
The main focus for Imago will be on two flagship screens designed for the public display and presentation arenas. The NEC LCD3000, which provides outstanding picture quality, is a 30-inch wide-angle IPS-TFT display with a screen diagonal of 75cm and a usable picture area of 643 x 386mm with an aspect ratio of 15:9. Because the monitor's optimum resolution is 1280 x 768 (W-XGA), it is ideal for displaying text as well as still shots and video, and provides viewers with clear, distinct images both close up and from a distance.
The NEC LCD3000 has a light intensity of 450cd/m2 at a contrast ratio of up to 450:1, as a result colours can be reproduced vividly and grey scales are sharp and precise.
