NEW APPOINTMENT AT PICARDY MEDIA GROUP

GLASGOW based Picardy Media Group (PMG) have announced the appointment of James Stewart as their new Sales and Marketing Director.
Based at the company's Glasgow headquarters, Stewart will lead sales operations throughout the UK. He joins Picardy from the Indigolighthouse Group where he was the company's Head of Business for the UK and Channel Islands and was responsible for e-commerce B2B and B2C platforms.
Stewart has previously worked in other key sales posts throughout the UK, and was General Manager of Merverrie Limited for four years, before joining the Laird Group plc. where he served for seven years as Scottish General Sales Manager and Commercial Director for the Midlands.
Commenting on the appointment, Picardy Media Group Managing Director, Iain Hogg, said: "James is the ideal person to be heading up our sales and marketing as he has a strong sales background combined with specific marketing and Internet experience at the highest level within the communications sector. Now we are in integrated media services for clients it is vital that we have an individual of his calibre who understands web-based technology and the opportunities that this offers."
Picardy Media Group began trading as Picardy Television Ltd in 1993 and has an established background in broadcast television, radio production and post production. (CD)
