RTE PROMOS GET FOUR NOMINATIONS
RTE programme promotions have been nominated in four categories in the Promax Europe awards.
Promax is an international festival, the Oscars equivalent in the promo world, and RTE were nominated in the following categories: ‘Best On-air Programme Campaign’; ‘Best News Promo’; ‘Best Game Show Promo’; and ‘Best Film on TV Promo’.
Jim Booth, RTE’s Acting Head of Promotions, said: “We’re thrilled and delighted to be nominated for four awards; usually the strike rate is one in ten but this is closer to one in three for us. I’m very proud of the team, let’s hope they bring home the gold!”
The Promax Awards take place in Amsterdam on March 27. (CD)
