TVNewsCheck Opens Nominations for 2027 Women in Technology Awards

TVNewsCheck has announced that nominations are officially open for its 2027 Women in Technology Awards, celebrating outstanding women whose leadership, vision, and innovation are shaping the future of media and entertainment technology. Now in its 16th year, the annual awards program honors exceptional professional achievements across three distinct categories: Leadership, Futurist, and Women to Watch. The final accolades will be presented during the 2027 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The awards categories include:
• Women in Technology Leadership Award — Recognizes exceptional women who have advanced media and entertainment industry technology through strategic innovation, operational excellence and impactful leadership.
• Women in Technology Futurist Award — Honors visionary women who are redefining the boundaries of media and entertainment through pioneering innovation and transformative thinking.
• Technology Women to Watch Award — Celebrates emerging leaders and rising stars who are already making a meaningful impact on media and entertainment technology.

TVNewsCheck invites industry professionals to nominate themselves or colleagues whose accomplishments exemplify excellence and innovation in technology.

Nomination ballots are available for download at here. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.

Presented annually at NAB Show, the Women in Technology Awards recognize the achievements of women who are driving technological innovation and helping shape the future of the media and entertainment industry. The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 6, in the Media & Entertainment Theater at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall.
