VMI awarded Investors In People status

Rental facility VMI Broadcast have been awarded the Investors In People award for their approach and attitude to staff, systems and training.
VMI's Managing Director, Barry Bassett, said: "We are absolutely delighted with the recognition, but we realised early that excellent service and excellent systems are only possible with excellent people - and people are only excellent if you invest in them."
VMI Broadcast are the first rental company to offer Modern Apprenticeships, in an initiative to train young people vocationally over three years and help them earn a nationally recognised qualification while getting paid.
Initially three posts will be offered on a pilot scheme in camera, engineering and Avid systems, with two further posts planned for next year.
