IBIS CELEBRATE TEN YEARS IN AUTOMATION
CELEBRATING their tenth year as pioneers in broadcast automation, IBIS will be focusing attention at NAB on their SprinTx news and sports automation system and their PreCue planning and scheduling software.
Already recognised as one of the most effective solutions for news and sports applications in Europe, IBIS’s SprinTx reflects the company’s ten-year experience in the automation of smaller and medium-sized stations where adaptability, flexibility and ease-of-use are key. SprinTx integrates seamlessly with servers and newsroom computer systems from all the major manufacturers and uses MOS protocols to ensure that the playout module can automatically be updated with any changes to the transmission schedules.
PreCue, developed in response to the demand for a smaller, lighter and less sophisticated planning and scheduling system than IBIS’s famed PreSeT, offers all the features required to tie together a broadcast channel in a single package which is both easy to install and easy to use.
PreCue provides separate databases for filler and programme materials which enable series and episodes to be created as required and to create break patterns and content for EPGs.
SprinTx will be shown on the Quantel stand at LVCC Booth No. 11520, and PreCue will be demonstrated in a private suite close to the exhibition.
