PHOTON BEARD INTRODUCE UPGRADE VERSION OF HYPERLIGHT

PHOTON Beard, leading manufacturers of portable lighting equipment for the film and video markets, have introduced an upgraded version of the compact, ultra lightweight Hyperlight 471.
Hyperlight 471 is a new concept in on-camera continuous lighting using fluorescent lamps, which stay cool and are ideal for busy cameramen on the move.
The improved Hyperlight 471 is flicker-free, ambient light balanced and very economical to run, and the electronics and light output have been significantly improved compared with the original model, which was launched a year ago.
Alan Gooch, Sales Director of Photon Beard, said: "The new Hyperlight 471 is the most cost-effective and efficient form of on-camera lighting on the market today. It has the added advantage of giving a very relaxed mode of light compared with tungsten and remains cool in operation, enabling location cameramen to move more quickly between assignments."
The Hyperlight gives a soft, even light output with soft shadows and no glare. It operates from camera batteries and external 12, 13.2 and 14.4 volt battery packs or belts. There is a choice of two long life lamps, 4000k colour temperature, which matches well with most ambient lighting areas, and the 3000k, which balances with standard tungsten lighting. Accessories and adaptors to suit most cameras are available.
