New FOCUS DV mixer line at Holdan

Holdan has announced the release of two new Digital Vision mixers, the MX-4 and the MX-4 DV.
Not only have FOCUS Enhancement kept many of the best features from their popular and highly praised MXProDV mixer, but they have been able to again raise the bar in vision mixer technology.
Having listened to user requests FOCUS decided to add two additional IEEE-1394 inputs, (bringing the DV inputs of the MX-4 DV to a total of four) and to integrate a very useful graphics store. Additionally they have added Ethernet connectivity for computer or network use, and over 700 special effects making the MX-4 DV the ultimate price/performance device.
FOCUS Enhancements real-time 10-bit (4:2:2) video technology and superior input comb filter circuitry guarantees that the MX-4 DV will produce digital and analogue images without a loss in quality. The MX-4 DV also features a powerful audio mixer, featuring enhanced synchronized audio mixing capabilities with on-screen slider control adjustments for volume, and level meters.

Within the four layer video effect parameters provided by the MX-4 DV you will be able to use your jpeg as an input, background or foreground image.
The MX-4 and MX-4 DV are expected to be available before the end of the year. The suggested retail price of the MX-4 is £1595.00 and MX-4 DV £2795.00.
