QUANTEL TO RUN WORKSHOPS IN BOURNEMOUTH

QUANTEL are to run a series of six workshops at Bournemouth University on May 17, demonstrating the power of two of their industry-leading editing and effects systems, Editbox and Hal.
The company is holding the seminars in conjunction with two of their accredited training centres - The Media School at Bournemouth University and The Arts Institute at Bournemouth.
The one day event is designed to raise awareness of the power of Quantel systems and of the training program which the two centres offer. The six sessions will be run by Quantel senior trainers and will be attended by students, heads of departments, local media, local businesses and other Quantel Accredited members.
Denise Lawton, Quantel Education and Training Officer, said: “These shows offer the students a fantastic opportunity to gain an insight into both graphics and editing. Students who train on Quantel equipment as part of their course have a distinct competitive edge when entering the jobs market.”
The Quantel Accreditation Program offers students the highest level of training on Quantel equipment, using both internal and external assessment at accredited centres. The Media School at Bournemouth University offers training on Editbox and The Arts Institute at Bournemouth gives their students the chance to master the skills of creative graphics and effects using Hal.
