Calrec Selects Video Progetti

Calrec has named Video Progetti, the Rome- and Milan-based broadcast distributor and AV systems integrator, as its new distribution partner for Italy.

With more than three decades of experience in the Italian broadcast market, Video Progetti will provide sales, integration and local support across the entire Calrec portfolio. This includes connected broadcast audio technologies with remote operation, integration with software-defined production platforms, and IP-based ST 2110 audio networking, designed to help media companies optimise resources, streamline workflows and cut operating costs. Calrec's latest launches from IBC 2026 — the compact Type RT all-in-one digital console and the Apex M6 modular I/O platform — are also part of the offering.

At the centre of Calrec's ecosystem is Argo, its IP-native console. Surrounding it are the ImPulse IP processing core, the ImPulseV virtualised audio mixing engine, and the next-generation True Control 2.0 for remote operation. Through Video Progetti, Italian broadcasters can adopt on-premises, remote, distributed or virtualised production models and scale up or down to fit each project’s demands.
