Hiltron To Debut New HCS4 Module And Touchscreen

Hiltron Communications, among Europe’s most established specialists in satellite system design, integration and maintenance, will showcase new satcom products and services at Space Tech Expo Europe 2026 in Bremen.

The company equips fixed and mobile earth stations with steerable reflectors up to 13 metres in diameter, DVB encoding and multiplexing, receive subsystems, tracking, de-ice heating and comprehensive monitoring and control, alongside related fibre-optic solutions.

Hiltron will appear as a member of DeSK (Deutsches Zentrum für Satelliten-Kommunikation e.V.) on Stand E21 in Hall 4. The exhibition and conference run from 17 to 19 November at Messe Bremen, spanning seven halls.

Set for introduction at the show is an encrypted satcom communication module for the Hiltron HCS4 control unit. HCS4 supports a broad suite of ground-terminal functions and is deployed within Hiltron’s HACU antenna control and HDCU de-ice systems. The new module provides Ethernet and SFP interfaces for copper or fibre connectivity, enables encrypted network communications and adds greater processing capability for a smoother user experience. Commercial availability is targeted for mid-2027.

Making its Space Tech Expo Europe debut, the HACUX-IDU2 17-inch touchscreen option for HCS4 is housed in an 8U rack-mount. It offers an efficient, operator-friendly way to manage satellite earth stations, allowing all HCS4, HACU and HDCU parameters to be adjusted without an external keyboard or pointing device and installed at a conveniently located operating position.
