CONVERA have announced the latest advancement in their pursuit of the European broadcasting and media industry.
German television broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Media have successfully deployed two Convera-powered digital content management solutions across their diverse television operations.
Convera's RetrievalWare text content management technology has been integrated into the company's ProNews editorial system and ProArchive archival solution, providing editorial and research staff with a means to streamline their video production and research process. By embedding RetrievalWare in their solutions, employees now have fast, accurate search and retrieval systems for accessing live newsfeeds and the company's extensive archive of digitised text, image and audio content, including photographic libraries, cartography and electronic documents such as news transcripts.
Among the other European firms utilizing Convera digital content management solutions are The Financial Times, The Independent and TV5, the world's leading public-service French-language television network.
