Eon Media To Showcase AI-Powered Content Intelligence Solutions
Eon Media will showcase its AI-powered content intelligence and activation solutions at NAB Show New York 2026, taking place on 21 and 22 October at the Javits Centre, where it will demonstrate how broadcasters, content owners, audio companies and sports organisations can extract greater value from their media assets.
At Booth 846, the company will present its technology for processing live and archived video and audio using secure, internally developed AI. The system generates structured metadata covering people, objects, topics, brands, transcripts and scene information, enabling organisations to search, analyse and repurpose content across a range of workflows.
Applications include advanced content search, analytics, clip creation, secure media portals, sponsorship measurement and archive monetisation. Eon Media will demonstrate its solutions through examples involving customers including Cumulus Media, PBS, US Cycling, US Swimming and WRAL TV.
Eon Media's portfolio comprises three core solutions designed to help organisations make their media libraries more accessible and commercially useful.
eonARCHIVES AI makes video archives searchable and reusable, enabling teams to locate historic and current footage, generate transcripts and metadata, identify specific moments, extract clips and create secure archive experiences.
eonAUDIO applies content intelligence to audio libraries, helping organisations generate metadata and transcripts, search programming, identify relevant segments, analyse content trends and develop new audience engagement opportunities.
eonEXTRACT uses computer vision to identify brands, logos, people and placements across live and recorded video. The technology converts this information into measurable exposure data for broadcasters, rights holders and sponsors.
Applications across broadcasting, audio and sport
Eon Media's North American customer base demonstrates how content intelligence can be applied across different media sectors.
In audio, the company works with Cumulus Media to make programming searchable and actionable, helping teams identify relevant moments and reuse existing material across digital and social channels.
In sport, its technology analyses brand and sponsor exposure in video content, providing insight into screen time, prominence, context and frequency. This information can help rights holders and sponsors assess the visibility and performance of brand placements.
The company said content intelligence can support a broader range of activities beyond search, including archive reuse, social media activation, sponsorship analysis, licensing, content versioning and monetisation.
As media workflows become increasingly automated and personalised, the ability to understand the content held within an organisation's libraries is becoming more important. Eon Media's approach focuses on turning stored media into assets that can be discovered, repurposed and activated across multiple channels.
Eon Media has developed its AI technology specifically for media applications and does not rely on third-party AI platforms to process customer content.
The approach is designed to give content owners greater control over proprietary media, including deployments where content, data and AI models need to remain isolated. The company also aims to provide greater control over processing costs and help prevent AI usage charges from escalating as workloads increase.
At NAB Show New York, Eon Media will demonstrate how these capabilities can help media organisations improve access to their archives, streamline content workflows and identify new opportunities to generate value from existing assets.
