Brescia Teletutto chooses Eyeheight playout

Northern-Italy regional television station Brescia Teletutto has purchased two Eyeheight playout modular master control systems.
Located midway between Venice and Milan, Brescia Teletutto serves two regions on a split-channel basis, each with a dedicated playout unit. The purchase was made via Eyeheight's exclusive Italian reseller, Media Signals Srl, based in Trezzano.
Media Signals Sales Director Paolo Sala commented: "The Eyeheight playout system's combination of intuitive operation and technical reliability met Brescia Teletutto's current requirements exactly, with the further advantage of being easily expandable to meet future needs. Compactness was an additional benefit, both in terms of MCR and rack space. Sony Systems Italy (system integrator and provider of the entire production facility project) was pleased and satisfied to integrate the Eyeheight master control into the complete system"
Eyeheight Managing Director Martin Moore added: "Scalability combined with reliability and logical ergonomics have made playout the master control system of choice for broadcasters in many European countries and worldwide. In Britain, the BBC has many Eyeheight playout systems at its new Broadcast Centre in White City. Italy's mountainous topography has kept it at the forefront of regional television broadcasting and potentially a huge market."
The Eyeheight playout systems at Brescia Teletutto comprise a compact control panel and a 1U rackmounting processor. Features include mix/wipe, keyer, audio/voiceover, internal cross-point and logo-store. These can be integrated to match the need of individual broadcasters, from a simple automated A/B mixer up to a full-scale multi-channel master control system with manual over-ride. Up to three independent channels can be accommodated in the base configuration chassis. playout's mix/wipe module provides a wide range of wipes with user-preset edge characteristics, audio-follows-video, audio only, video only, audio lead and audio lag. Transitions can be performed via manual T-bar, timed with manual activation, or fully automated.
