Orange Belgium Renews Viaccess-Orca Technology Contract

Orange Belgium has renewed its contract with Viaccess-Orca (VO) for technology covering content security, video playback and quality-of-experience monitoring across its television services.

The agreement extends a relationship between the two companies dating back to 2014 and covers VO's Secure Video Player, Multi-DRM, QoX and Conditional Access System (CAS) technologies.

Orange Belgium uses the technology across a range of TV environments to provide content protection, playback and service monitoring on subscribers’ devices.

VO's CAS technology is also used to support Orange Belgium's B2B television services, including deployments in hotels, hospitals and other organisations where service availability and reliability are key requirements.

The renewed agreement will see Orange Belgium continue using the technologies across its consumer and business services as it seeks to maintain consistent security and service quality across different environments.
