Hiltron Reports Successful IBC 2026

Hiltron Communications has reported a successful IBC2026, with the satcom systems specialist highlighting its latest developments in satellite communication system design and integration during the event in Amsterdam.

The company exhibited on Stand A37 in Hall 1 at the RAI Amsterdam, where it held meetings with existing and potential customers from the broadcast, telecommunications and government sectors.

Hiltron has 47 years of experience in the integration of satellite communication systems and provides complete solutions for satellite ground stations and related applications.

Its capabilities include uplinks for satellite antennas of up to 13 metres in diameter, together with DVB encoding and multiplexing, receive subsystems, tracking and de-ice heating, as well as monitor and control systems. The company also designs and integrates ground stations, mobile systems and associated fibre-optic infrastructure.

Alongside its system integration activities, Hiltron used IBC2026 to promote its work as a manufacturer of standalone and modular satcom subsystems.

A key component of many of the company's projects is the HCS4 modular satcom system controller. The platform uses a card-based architecture designed to support a range of applications for modern ground station operations.

Hiltron said 11 modules are currently available for the HCS4, with additional modules developed as required to meet changing satcom system requirements.

The company said the strong attendance at its IBC2026 stand provided an opportunity to discuss its latest technologies and capabilities with customers and prospective customers across the broadcast, telecommunications and government markets.
