ITV Commissions Twelfth Series Of Celebrity Catchphrase

ITV has commissioned a 12th series of Celebrity Catchphrase from STV Studios.

One of the UK's most popular game show formats, the celebrity edition will once again see host Stephen Mulhern challenge famous faces to decipher well-known sayings from animated picture puzzles.

Series 12 will comprise ten brand new episodes, including a Soccer Aid special. Filming takes place this autumn for ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.

Stephen Mulhern said: "It's fantastic to be doing another series of Celebrity Catchphrase and to know that people will be back shouting at their tellies being far cleverer than the celebrities. We love making the show – it’s packed with laughs, all the family can watch, and it raises huge amounts of money for great causes. I cannot wait! Roll on the new series."

Since relaunching in 2013, Celebrity Catchphrase has featured hundreds of household names from TV, sport, music and social media, raising thousands of pounds for charitable causes.

The 11th series, which aired earlier this year, included appearances from Rob Delaney, James Acaster, Mel Giedroyc, Joanna Page, Chris Packham, Guz Khan and Motsi Mabuse.
