BrightSign Launches Control Plus On AWS

News Image
BrightSign has introduced BrightSign Control Plus, a premium tier of its device management solution for digital signage players, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Aimed at sectors including retail, restaurants, corporate, healthcare and transportation, the platform is designed to deliver advanced fleet management at scale.

Control Plus offers a single, consolidated view of fleet status, with health dashboards, automated alerts, streamlined system navigation and AI-assisted diagnostics. The tools are intended to enable real-time, proactive oversight of network uptime, moving customers away from reactive maintenance.

By leveraging AWS’s efficient cloud infrastructure, BrightSign says it can keep costs manageable while scaling to support more than 300,000 players currently deployed worldwide, with capacity to expand further. The platform can manage anything from a handful to thousands of networks, supporting simultaneous self-healing, software updates, bulk actions and job scheduling. It targets IT managers, system integrators, multisite operators, CMS partners and others who need to configure and monitor large technology fleets without handling devices one by one.

Control Plus draws on a broad set of AWS services, including Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS & Aurora, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon GuardDuty, Load Balancing and AWS Control Tower. Building on AWS’s secure platform enables continuous, built-in security monitoring and consistent governance across BrightSign’s cloud environment, minimising risk and helping maintain uptime. AWS also underpins content storage and delivery, supporting dynamic experiences without capacity bottlenecks, aided by the efficiency of AWS infrastructure.
