Absen Launches PL Plus V2X Series

Absen Inc. has launched the PL Plus V2X Series, the latest generation of its Polaris Series LED displays for indoor rental and staging applications.

The new platform is designed for live events, touring, corporate productions and broadcast, combining higher image quality with greater creative flexibility and improved panel-to-panel consistency. Absen says the series builds on nearly a decade of the Polaris platform and more than one million Polaris Series displays sold worldwide.

"With the PL Plus V2X Series, we've enhanced many aspects of the platform, including image quality and colour accuracy, giving production teams even greater confidence to deliver exceptional visual experiences for live events, touring, corporate productions and broadcast applications."

The PL Plus V2X Series offers brightness of up to 1,200 nits, a 95% DCI-P3 wide color gamut and a 7,680Hz refresh rate. Absen said the combination is designed to deliver smooth on-camera performance while reducing flicker, including at lower brightness levels.

The new series is also designed to accommodate different display configurations. Flat, curved, L-shaped and flexible panel options allow production teams to create custom stages, immersive environments and architectural LED installations.

Absen has also focused on consistency across larger LED displays. The company uses same-batch LEDs and color-matched mask controls during manufacturing to improve panel-to-panel uniformity and help create seamless images across large canvases.

The PL Plus V2X Series is aimed at rental companies, production teams and system integrators working across live entertainment, corporate events, touring and broadcast. Absen says the combination of visual performance, configuration options and panel consistency is intended to provide a flexible LED platform for demanding production environments.
