DPA Microphones Names Raul Contreras As West Coast Regional Sales Manager

DPA Microphones has appointed Raul Contreras as its West Coast Regional Sales Manager. In the role, he will oversee sales and customer relationships across the western United States, supporting DPA Microphones, Austrian Audio and Wisycom, and collaborating closely with dealers, distributors and end users to strengthen the brands’ regional footprint.

Contreras steps into the position after the retirement of industry veteran John Root. He brings more than 15 years' experience in business growth, strategic partnerships and brand development spanning pro audio, music technology and consumer products. His career includes leadership roles at Native Instruments, Monster Energy and HOTPIT Autofest, where he forged strong channel partnerships, built go-to-market strategies and led programmes that expanded market presence and revenue across North America and Latin America.

His background in sales, marketing, channel development and business strategy provides insight into the needs of dealers, systems integrators, content creators and audio professionals. This breadth of experience positions him to guide customers to the right solutions while supporting DPA’s continued expansion.
