KRK Launches Fifth-Generation V Series Studio Monitors
KRK, the Gibson-owned professional studio monitoring brand, has launched its new V Series Five Studio Monitors, marking the latest generation of its flagship professional reference monitor range.
The fifth-generation V Series builds on more than four decades of KRK monitor development, combining the company’s established focus on accuracy and translation with new wireless control capabilities and advanced acoustic tuning tools aimed at modern production environments.
"The V Series has long been KRK's flagship studio monitor, trusted by engineers and producers around the world for its precision and reliability," said Andrew Ladner, KRK Marketing Manager. "V Series Five builds on that legacy, delivering the sonic accuracy for which V Series is known, while evolving to meet the demands of today’s modern workflows. The latest generation represents a significant leap forward in both performance and functionality."
Designed for professional recording, mixing and immersive audio applications, the V Series Five introduces KRK Mesh® technology, allowing users to control the monitors wirelessly through the KRK Control App®.
The app enables professionals to manage monitor settings from a mobile device, including system configuration, EQ profile selection, level adjustment and performance optimisation following installation, without requiring physical access to the rear of the speakers.
The monitors can be configured as a stereo pair or incorporated into larger Dolby Atmos® systems, with users able to control individual monitors or group multiple units together.
The combination of wireless control and acoustic tuning is intended to give engineers greater flexibility when configuring and managing monitoring systems, particularly in professional production environments where access to installed equipment can be limited.
The V Series Five represents the latest development of KRK’s flagship monitor platform, extending its focus on professional reference monitoring while adding functionality designed around increasingly complex and connected studio workflows.
