Creative Remote To Open London Offline Facility
Creative Remote, the provider of remote and hybrid offline editing infrastructure, today announced the opening of 41, its new offline edit facility located at 41-47 Old Street, Farringdon.
Opening in late summer of 2026, the facility will boost London’s offline editing capacity by offering 35 editing suites and almost 8,000 sq ft of space. It will serve as a dedicated hub for creativity and collaboration.
The launch of 41 represents continued investment in the offline editing sector at a time when capacity in London has been under increasing pressure. Underscoring Creative Remote’s strategy for wider growth, the development addresses client demand for a physical hub to complement established workflows. It builds on its remote-first editing model, which has grown organically over the past four years to become one of the country's largest offline editing providers.
The new facility houses 35 edit suites, the vast majority of which feature natural light, along with several breakout spaces, a rooftop terrace, meeting facilities and screening rooms. Located in Farringdon, 41 is surrounded by production companies and boutique post-production houses, and offers easy access to Soho and the wider capital. This building will also enable The Collectv, Creative Remote’s location focused sister company, to offer productions more solutions as they progress from location, to offline, to their choice of finishing, as everyone tries to find the best fit for their timeframe, scale and budget.
Founded during the pandemic, Creative Remote was built specifically for the realities of modern remote and hybrid production, providing flexible, secure and collaborative workflows. This remains at the root of the company, which has over 200 edit seats in operation, with the new facility representing 25% of Creative Remote’s overall capacity.
The offline-only facility is a neutral home for productions and creative teams across the UK and internationally, and also offers overspill capacity for post-production houses. Creative Remote offers this space for productions to work with whichever finishing partners best suit their project, so that they can focus on delivering the best creative outcome.
Creative Remote welcomes teams across unscripted, drama and feature filmmaking, having previously provided infrastructure for Netflix’s Drive to Survive and Simon Cowell: The Next Act.
Creative Remote will host an opening event in late summer.
