HK Audio Launches Two New Product Families: LUNAR And PORTABLE SUB

German pro audio brand HK Audio has introduced two complementary ranges — LUNAR loudspeakers and PORTABLE SUB subwoofers — designed to deliver high performance, intuitive operation and a cohesive system concept whether used separately or together.

The LUNAR line comprises three versatile loudspeakers built around 10", 12" and 15" woofers. Each can function as a full-range cabinet, a stage monitor or as a mid/high unit when paired with subwoofers from the PORTABLE SUB family.

PORTABLE SUB spans two models with 15" and 18" drivers. While tailored to partner LUNAR, the subs are also designed to integrate seamlessly with HK Audio's POLAR MK2 and SONAR systems.

Both series were developed independently to meet professional demands. They excel on their own, but are precisely matched to unlock their full potential together, forming a powerful, flexible and user-friendly complete setup.

Aimed at DJs, live performers and professional PA applications, LUNAR focuses on fast, fuss-free results. A streamlined control layout offers ready-made presets for music, monitor and voice, enabling rapid setup and smooth operation so users can stay focused on the performance.

A 32-bit DSP with FIR filtering and phase correction delivers accurate, dynamic sound with strong impact even at higher levels. Connectivity is broad, with Bluetooth True Wireless Stereo among the options for easy integration of different signal sources.

Manufactured in Germany, LUNAR highlights build quality and reliability with robust wooden enclosures, a clean, modern aesthetic and an extended five-year manufacturer's warranty. The proposition is simple: power up, pick a preset and go.

PORTABLE SUB adds a tightly controlled, powerful low-frequency foundation to contemporary loudspeaker systems. It is the natural complement to LUNAR and offers strong compatibility across the HK Audio ecosystem, combining straightforward, dependable operation with maximum flexibility.

A preset-driven workflow includes dedicated profiles for HK Audio series to ensure phase-stable, precisely tuned pairing at the touch of a button, plus a general preset for use with other brands' loudspeakers. With 1,400 W of peak power and a maximum sound pressure level of 131 dB, the subs deliver deep, well-defined bass, while onboard DSP preserves transient detail at elevated volumes. A built-in stereo preamp simplifies 2.1 configurations, and well-considered I/O and controls streamline day-to-day use. Like LUNAR, the subs are made in Germany for durability and long-term reliability.
