Neumann Studio Ecosystem Headlines GearExpo 2026 With Sennheiser Group

The Sennheiser Group will appear at GearExpo 2026 on 27 June at the University of Westminster's Harrow Campus in London, presenting a Neumann-led demonstration of its studio portfolio. The showcase maps a complete workflow, enabling attendees to experience each stage of production from recording and audio conversion through to monitoring, mixing and immersive creation.

GearExpo brings together many of the world's leading professional audio brands, giving visitors hands-on access to microphones, audio interfaces, studio monitors, synthesisers, mixing consoles, outboard processors and software. Formerly known as GearFest and hosted at Tileyard Studios, the event has rebranded to GearExpo and moved to a larger venue to support continued growth, with around 2,000 visitors expected.

At the core of Sennheiser's presence is a dedicated Neumann studio (MR3) featuring a comparative 2.1 monitoring set-up built around the KH 80 DSP, KH 120 II and KH 150 monitors, paired with the KH 750 DSP subwoofer. Instant switching lets guests hear Neumann's consistent reference signature across the range, with bass extension and maximum SPL scaling while tonal accuracy is preserved in a controlled environment.

The demonstration also spans Neumann reference microphones and studio headphones, covering the full signal path from capture to monitoring. Merging Technologies audio interfaces and the Pyramix DAW are tightly integrated with Neumann systems to create a unified production workflow across recording, processing and playback.

Neumann's RIME immersive monitoring technology and the MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system complete the set-up, supporting precise monitoring and dependable translation. Together, these solutions show how the Neumann ecosystem enables accurate, high-quality workflows across a variety of studio sizes, applications and budgets.

Selected Sennheiser studio products will also be on show, including the latest HD 480 PRO, HD 490 PRO and HD 280 PRO headphones, plus the MD 421 Kompakt and MD 441 microphones.
