Clear-Com Intercoms Equip Poland's Itaka Arena

Clear-Com has confirmed that its intercom technologies have been installed at Itaka Arena in Opole, Poland, providing dependable, end-to-end communications across one of Europe's newest mid-sized stadiums. The project was delivered in partnership with Commercial Audio, a leading Polish distributor and systems integrator that supported the arena's broader technical infrastructure.

At the core of the solution is the Arcadia Central Station, a scalable platform that merges matrix functionality with user control. To extend coverage throughout the venue, the installation also includes the FreeSpeak II wireless system, ensuring consistent connectivity from broadcast compounds and tunnels to locker rooms and the pitch.

Designed to handle live sport, concerts and large-scale events, the tailored setup enables production teams, commentators and technical crews to coordinate continuously across all operational zones of the stadium.

Arcadia Central Station includes an onboard AoIP Dante card, which allows us to integrate the system very quickly with audio systems, consoles at the venue, or OB trucks. The intuitive and fast routing of Dante signals provides great flexibility for expanding communication points and integrating with 3rd party systems."

Strategically positioned antennas deliver full wireless coverage across key areas including the field of play, player tunnels and production zones. The system supports Clear-Com beltpacks used by technical teams and links with commentator positions, enabling clear communication between announcers and production staff.

Opened in 2025 with close to 12,000 seats, the arena hosts football, concerts and cultural events, reflecting a wider trend in modern stadiums where integrated communications are essential to safe, efficient and high-quality live experiences.
