AEQ Intercom Powers Manuel Turizo's Sold-Out Guadalajara Arena Show

Colombian artist Manuel Turizo delivered a sold-out concert at Arena Guadalajara on 2 December 2025 as part of his international '201 Tour', with AEQ technology used to manage internal communications throughout the event.

Arena Guadalajara, one of Mexico's most modern and significant indoor venues, is built to host large-scale musical productions and top-tier events. Its scale and technical profile demand precise coordination and communication among the many teams involved.

The communications project was led by Alejandro Villareal of Video Conceptos, working in collaboration with local distributor Viewhaus and its sales representative Raúl López, alongside Cesar Reyna, who manages AEQ's Mexico office.

AEQ's Xpeak and Xplorer MAX intercom systems enabled clear, reliable, real-time links between sound, lighting, video, production and staging departments. Notably, a single MAX antenna was sufficient to cover the entire arena, ensuring wide technical reach with minimal equipment.

Xpeak is a modern, flexible intercom platform based on audio-over-IP that supports clear communication among multiple users without a central matrix. The Xpeak IF interface can also be added to link third-party systems via Dante and analogue, improving interoperability across different audio systems.

Xplorer MAX is a high-performance wireless beltpack operating on advanced digital radio in the 5 GHz band, offering strong coverage, protection against interference and professional-quality audio. Compact, ergonomic and rugged, it provides stable communications in demanding environments and complements the Xpeak system.

The deployment reinforces AEQ's position as a supplier and manufacturer of professional communication solutions not only for broadcast but also for large live events and high-level musical productions, as the company continues to expand its presence in the live sector.
