EvertzAV Adopts intoPIX JPEG XS TDC Technology For NUCLEUS UXP Gateways

intoPIX has announced that EvertzAV has integrated its JPEG XS Temporal Differential Coding (TDC) technology into the company's NUCLEUS UXP gateways, which support 4K60. The gateways have also recently secured IPMX certification, underscoring alignment with open standards and interoperable AV-over-IP workflows.

The collaboration is aimed at enabling scalable, efficient and future‑proof IPMX deployments across professional AV. By combining IPMX with JPEG XS featuring TDC, EvertzAV's NUCLEUS platform gains visually lossless quality, ultra‑low latency and optimised bandwidth usage, helping systems scale while maintaining predictable performance and a smooth user experience.

NUCLEUS pairs centralised management with modular AV gateways to distribute video, audio and control over standard IP networks. The addition of the intoPIX TicoXS FIP Codec with JPEG XS TDC strengthens this approach by delivering efficient transport without compromising image quality or reliability.
