AbsenLive Unveils SA1.5

News Image
Absen has launched the SA1.5, the latest evolution of its Saturn Series, a mainstay in the live event rental market known for reliability and ease of use.

The new display features a 1.56mm pixel pitch, an improvement over the 1.9mm and 2.6mm offered by comparable products, delivering ultra-fine resolution for demanding indoor environments.

The SA1.5 incorporates Absen’s full flip-chip COB (Chip on Board) technology, offering a monolithic panel structure that enhances stability and protection. Compared to conventional designs, the SA1.5 consumes 30% less power and provides 40% greater stability, while remaining fully compatible with the Saturn Series’ existing accessory ecosystem, allowing for seamless upgrades without overhauling inventory.

"With the launch of the SA1.5, we are providing our partners with the visual technology required for high-end corporate events, broadcast studios, and other premium live shows,” said Emma Liu, EU Regional President. "By integrating next-generation COB technology into a proven mechanical framework, we have created a truly versatile solution that protects our customers’ investment while pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the rental market."

The display also features advanced Anti-Reflection design, using a deep black coating and Anti-Glare film to eliminate distracting glare and achieve perfect black uniformity for optimal on-camera performance. Its visual depth is further protected by Absen's 6-Star Shield, guarding against moisture, dust, and physical damage.

Mechanical precision remains a hallmark of the Saturn Series. The SA1.5 employs a dual-layer die-cast magnesium cabinet with symmetrical triangular structures for exceptional flatness and warp resistance. Installation is simplified with the Fast-Locking King Pin system, providing clear visual confirmation of security, while Automatic Edge Protection safeguards LEDs during setup.

The SA1.5 is positioned as a high-performance, versatile solution for rental operators, broadcast studios, and live event professionals seeking a balance of ultra-fine image quality, durability, and operational efficiency.
