FOR-A Showcases Real-Time Mobile Streaming AI Tool

FOR-A Corporation is set to demonstrate its GoVertical! AiDi technology at NAB Show 2026, highlighting real-time 9:16 autocropping for live streaming to mobile devices.

The feature is part of viztrick AiDi, an AI solution developed by Nippon TV and powered by hardware from NVIDIA. The system enables broadcasters to automatically reformat live content into vertical video suitable for mobile platforms, without relying on cloud processing.

Already in use by NBC Sports, the technology supports a wide range of live and recorded content, including sports, entertainment, news and events where vertical streaming is increasingly in demand.

"GoVertical! AiDi instantly unlocks revenue streams with mobile phone viewers," said Satoshi Kanemura, President and COO of FOR-A America. "There is virtually no delay with GoVertical! AiDi, and no need to connect to the internet or the cloud, as opposed to competing solutions that introduce a delay of five to ten seconds. When it's live, every frame counts."

NBC Sports has adopted the system to deliver live events in mobile-first formats, benefiting from its speed and flexibility.

"We needed a way to produce high-quality 9:16 live content with virtually no delay," said Tim Canary, Senior Vice President of Engineering at NBC Sports. "viztrick AiDi does exactly that. The AI tracking is fast, accurate, and reliable – and when you need manual control, it's instantly available. It gives us flexibility without sacrificing the pace or quality of our live coverage."

The technology operates entirely on-device, using high-performance GPUs to process video in near real time. This approach removes the need for internet connectivity while maintaining consistent performance, particularly in remote or outside broadcast environments.

In addition to autocropping, viztrick AiDi includes features such as player tracking, object recognition, telestration, automated graphics and motion data analytics, aimed at enhancing live production workflows.
