MRMC Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) has announced the appointment of Nick Barthee as its new Chief Operating Officer, as the company looks to strengthen its leadership and continue growth in the global broadcast and motion control robotics market.

Based in Surrey, MRMC said the appointment follows its transition from ownership by Nikon. The company confirmed that operations remain unchanged, with no disruption to its day-to-day activities, leadership structure or customer commitments.

Nick Barthee brings more than 20 years of experience in operational and engineering leadership within high-tech manufacturing. He previously served as COO and Director of Operations at Mo-Sys, where he helped scale global operations and implement advanced manufacturing systems. His earlier career includes senior roles at Kinsey Ross & Harlow Group.

In his new role, he will oversee global operations, production strategy and integration across MRMC's Broadcast and Motion Control divisions.
