PSSI Enhances Live Sports Coverage

PSSI has taken a major step to boost the flexibility, functionality, and security of its live sports operations with a high-density upgrade of its mobile fleet and PSSI International Teleport using Appear's X Platform.

The deployment comes ahead of a major global soccer event this summer in the Americas.

PSSI chose Appear's solutions for their integrated functionality, high-density performance, and advanced security, enabling the company to build a more flexible, future-ready contribution infrastructure for premium live event coverage.

The deployment includes multiple Appear X20 chassis, providing integrated functionality for encoding, decoding, satellite modulation and demodulation, ASI, and Secure Reliable Transport (SRT). PSSI has also upgraded its video transport security to BISS-2, delivering AES-128 encryption, dynamic key rotation, and real-time receiver control, ensuring premium sports feeds remain highly secure.
