Joey Martin Appointed To Lead Sales Strategy

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has appointed Joey Martin as senior vice president of Sales Strategy and Enablement for its Global Connections and Events (GCE) division.

In the role, Martin will oversee sales and revenue generation for NAB Show and NAB Show New York, reporting to Karen Chupka, executive vice president, GCE.

Martin brings extensive experience in sales leadership, trade show strategy and sponsorship development across the nonprofit and association landscape. He most recently served as vice president of Sales at NTP Events, directing sales across more than a dozen annual events. Before that, he was vice president of Business Development at ASIS International, managing high-value sponsorships and strategic partnerships.

"His proven expertise in sales strategy, account management and partner engagement will be instrumental in advancing our goal of and delivering even greater value to our exhibitors, sponsors and attendees."

Martin's appointment comes as NAB gears up for the 2026 NAB Show, a global meeting point for content creators, technologists and storytellers adapting to a fast-changing media and entertainment ecosystem. With expanded educational programming and deeper industry partnerships, NAB Show aims to better serve innovators shaping the future of media. The event takes place 18–22 April 2026 in Las Vegas.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Business from Christopher Newport University.
