Telestream Expands Adobe Integration

Telestream has announced new integrations with Adobe tools aimed at simplifying media production workflows, with the updates set to be showcased at the NAB 2026.

The company, based in Nevada City, said its latest enhancements connect Telestream Vantage directly with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, and Frame.io. The integration is designed to remove manual steps between creative editing and enterprise-level delivery, allowing editors to move from timeline to final output in a single workflow.

According to Telestream, the updates eliminate common bottlenecks such as manual exports, file handling and disconnected handoffs, replacing them with automated processes governed by predefined rules and metadata.

"Media organisations shouldn't have to choose between creative control and operational efficiency," said Rich Andes, VP of Product Management, Telestream. "For too long, teams have been stuck managing exports, babysitting render queues, chasing file naming inconsistencies, and manually handing off assets before automation can even begin. With this integration, we've removed those friction points. A single workflow initiates rendering, applies governed metadata, enforces delivery rules, and routes assets automatically, so editors stay focused on storytelling while operations gain the visibility, consistency, and control they need at scale."

The updated Vantage panel within Adobe Premiere enables editors to submit sequences directly into automated workflows without leaving the editing environment. From there, Vantage orchestrates rendering via Adobe Media Encoder, applies metadata and delivery logic, and routes content to Frame.io for review and approval.

Telestream said the integration preserves the creative capabilities of Adobe Media Encoder while adding enterprise-level orchestration, including centralised monitoring and automated routing to quality control, distribution and archive systems.

The company also highlighted improvements to its Frame.io connector, which now supports newer API capabilities while maintaining compatibility with legacy systems. This allows organisations to upgrade their workflows without disrupting ongoing production.

Telestream will demonstrate the new workflow capabilities at its booth (W1503) during NAB 2026 in Las Vegas.
