Netgem Expands Content Collaboration With Bouygues Telecom

News Image
Netgem has announced an enhanced content partnership with Bouygues Telecom, building on its initial Cloud Gaming collaboration, with the launch of a completeFree Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels offering across Bouygues Telecom's entire TV installed base.

The agreement extends the distribution of Pleio TV and its FAST channel catalogue in France to millions of Bouygues Telecom customers. At launch, an initial curated selection of 20 channels is available, covering a wide range of themes for all audiences, including Gen Z viewers (ADN, Eclutch), music fans (Qwest), food enthusiasts (TV5 Monde+ Chefs), and fans of Novelas (Passion Novelas, Passion Bollywood, Fréquence Novelas).

Bouygues Telecom selected Netgem not only for the quality of its content but also for the turnkey nature of the solution. Netgem has developed a complete technical ecosystem—including SSAI, CDN, ad servers and multi-ad sales houses—ensuring high-quality streaming distribution and effective advertising monetisation. The model has been successfully deployed in the United Kingdom since 2020 and is now available in France.

Through Pleio TV, Netgem offers telecom operators a comprehensive content aggregation platform, covering live TV, VOD, FAST channels and cloud gaming. This allows operators to deliver unified, convergent, and innovative entertainment experiences to subscribers.

Marc Laurier, Marketing Director at Bouygues Telecom, said: " In a context where TV usage is evolving rapidly – with viewers wanting more choice, more personalisation, and more simplicity – Bouygues Telecom's ambition is to continuously offer the best of television. Thanks to Pleio and its FAST channels, we are further opening up the field of discovery for our subscribers. This unique selection of thematic content enhances our TV offering and allows everyone to find a program that speaks to them at any time. With Netgem, we continue our mission: to offer our customers an ever-richer, more intuitive, and closer to their desires television experience. "

Sylvain Thevenot, Managing Director of Netgem PLEIO, added: "The extension of our partnership with Bouygues Telecom is a major validation of our 'Content-as-a-Service' strategy. We are proud to put our expertise in the FAST model, developed over more than 6 years in the United Kingdom and now extended on a large scale to the French market to millions of customers."
