PAT Named Wisycom Distributor For ANZ

Wisycom has appointed Professional Audio & Television (PAT) as its exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand, strengthening the company's presence across the ANZ region.

The agreement, effective immediately, is designed to provide local customers with faster access to products, enhanced technical resources and expanded support services. Through PAT’s distribution network and industry relationships, users in the region are expected to benefit from improved product availability, streamlined purchasing and technical support ranging from system design and commissioning to training and after-sales assistance.

Wisycom is known globally for its RF wireless systems used in professional production environments where spectrum congestion and demanding schedules require reliable performance.

"Wisycom has built an implacable reputation for RF performance, flexibility, and real-world usability," said Patrick Salloch, Managing Director ANZ at PAT. "Becoming Wisycom’s exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand is a natural fit for our team and our customers. We're excited to deliver not only access to the product range, but also the hands-on support, training, and responsiveness that our customers in ANZ are used to and rely on."

"ANZ is a key market with highly skilled crews and a fast-moving production landscape," said Marika Stangherlin, Chief Sales Officer at Wisycom. "PAT shares our commitment to technical excellence and customer service. With PAT, we’re confident that users in Australia and New Zealand will see stronger local support and a distribution partner focused on long-term relationships."

The Wisycom portfolio that will be available through PAT includes a range of RF systems designed for professional broadcast and live production workflows. Among them are the MCR54 four-channel true diversity receiver for high-density broadcast setups, the MPR60 wideband true diversity IEM/IFB receiver designed for live and outside broadcasting applications, and the MRK16 receiver rack system aimed at scalable touring and installation environments.

The range also includes RF-over-fibre distribution systems designed to enable long-distance RF transport and flexible antenna deployment for large venues, broadcast facilities and major events.

Under the agreement, PAT will also provide local demonstration units and spare parts, as well as RF coordination guidance and troubleshooting support. Training and education initiatives will be delivered for resellers, rental partners and end users to help maximise system performance.

Working alongside Wisycom’s headquarters and APAC team, PAT will also provide system design support for complex installations across broadcast facilities, outside broadcast operations, theatres, stadiums, corporate venues and houses of worship.

PAT said further details on local stock availability, channel programmes, training opportunities and product demonstrations will be announced in the coming weeks.
