AES Sets Out Nashville 2026 Plans And Confirms NAB New York
The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has outlined its October 2026 activity across two US hubs, pairing a concentrated technical programme and exhibition in Nashville with a dedicated broadcast‑focused presence at NAB Show New York the preceding week.
"AES is dedicated to finding more ways for members and attendees to benefit in key markets," said Graham Kirk, AES Associate Executive Director. "This October, we are delivering a highly requested AES Show in Nashville while partnering with NAB to provide a forum for broadcast audio professionals in New York."
AES Show Nashville 2026 will run a tightly curated three‑day technical programme from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, alongside a two‑day exhibition on the Saturday and Sunday. The gathering is designed to bring together audio professionals, technologists, creators and educators for in‑depth learning, discovery and networking.
The exhibition floor will be the weekend's central hub and home to the AES Main Stage, hosting the opening ceremony, the show's keynote, and a packed schedule of interviews, insights and appearances from industry leaders and "famous friends" across music, media and technology. Also on the floor, the Technology Showcase will give exhibitors a platform for real‑world demonstrations, workflows and practical user advice, offering direct insight into emerging tools and techniques shaping modern audio production.
Access to the exhibition floor, Main Stage content and Technology Showcase will be available with the Exhibits+ badge when registration opens in April. AES Members will receive early VIP access to registration and first access to the Society's exclusive hotel room rate at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Availability at this preferred rate is limited, rewarding those who register early.
Attendees seeking the most comprehensive experience can opt for All Access registration, which unlocks two full floors of focused sessions including keynotes, technical papers, poster presentations and networking events. All Access badge holders will also get first opportunity to participate in a new studio workshop event, with further details to follow.
In addition, AES has confirmed its participation at the 2026 NAB Show New York on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 October, the week before the Nashville event. AES@NAB New York will feature a free‑to‑access stage on the exhibition floor for NAB Show New York attendees, with a dedicated Broadcast Audio and Streaming day on Thursday 22 October. The programme will explore current challenges, workflows and innovations impacting practitioners across broadcast, live production and content delivery platforms.
"We've enjoyed a strong relationship with AES for more than a decade and are pleased to welcome AES, its members and the professional audio community back to NAB Show New York. Professional audio remains a vital part of the NAB Show ecosystem, and we're excited to continue that collaboration in 2026," said Karen Chupka, executive vice president of NAB Show.
For organisations seeking a presence in New York within a broadcast audio‑focused environment, AES will offer exhibition space adjacent to the AES@NAB New York stage, enabling direct engagement alongside curated educational content. To book exhibit space, contact Graham Kirk at graham.kirk@aes.org. Updated information is available at aesshow.com.
