Absen Unveils CL V3 Indoor COB MicroLED Display
Absen has launched its new CL V3 Series, a flagship indoor COB MicroLED display aimed at premium professional AV applications requiring high visual performance and long-term reliability.
Announced in Orlando on 4 February 2026, the CL V3 Series has been designed for use in environments such as brand flagship stores, corporate lobbies, enterprise exhibition halls, home theatres, conference spaces and control rooms. The company said the range is intended to deliver consistent image quality and immersive visual impact in some of the most visually demanding commercial and enterprise settings.
The CL V3 Series supports up to a 97% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, offers peak brightness of up to 1600 nits and delivers an ultra-high contrast ratio of 30,000:1. Built on flip-chip COB technology and Absen's nine-layer HTB ultra-black packaging process, the display is designed to produce deep blacks, reduce surface reflection and enhance image depth across both bright and controlled lighting conditions. Adaptive colour matching is also included to maintain consistency across different content sources and multi-screen installations.
"CL V3 represents a new standard for premium indoor LED," said Trent Slyter, Vice President of Sales for Pro AV. "From brand-forward retail spaces to corporate and public-facing environments, customers need displays they can trust for both visual precision and long-term performance. CL V3 was designed to deliver consistent image quality and simplified ownership, helping organizations create impactful visual experiences with confidence."
The display has been engineered for extended daily operation, featuring a 7680Hz ultra-high refresh rate to support flicker-free, camera-friendly performance, including at low grayscale levels. Its 22-bit grayscale and PWM+PAM hybrid drive technology are designed to deliver smooth colour transitions without banding or visual artefacts, while TÜV Low Blue Light certification supports visual comfort during prolonged use.
Energy efficiency is also a focus of the CL V3 Series. Absen said its five-fold energy-saving technology can reduce overall power consumption by up to 20%, with an automatic standby power cutoff providing additional efficiency benefits and helping organisations meet sustainability targets while lowering operating costs.
The ultra-slim cabinet design supports wall-mounted, hanging and stacking configurations, allowing the display to be integrated seamlessly into a wide range of architectural environments. Lightweight panels are intended to simplify installation and maintenance, making the CL V3 Series suitable for applications including flagship retail spaces, corporate lobbies, public venues, enterprise experience centres, and conference and boardroom installations.
