StreamGuys Expands Leadership Team
StreamGuys has appointed Dara Kalvort as Vice President of Digital Sales & Strategy and promoted Eduardo Martinez to Executive Vice President of Technology, strengthening the company’s leadership as it grows its audio advertising and streaming services.
As VP of Digital Sales & Strategy, Kalvort will lead sales for the StreamGuys Ad Network, focusing on expanding digital audio revenue through relationships with agencies and brands. She will also advise publishers on audio and podcast strategies, including programmatic advertising, creating new revenue opportunities while giving advertisers access to highly targeted, premium audiences.
"I'm impressed with Dara's forward-looking approach to measurement, targeting, and attribution. Paired with her background in the broadcast industry, she’s an asset for marketers and our network of publishers," said Tim Labelle, EVP of Global Sales at StreamGuys.
Kalvort brings more than 20 years of digital and media sales experience, most recently serving as Corporate Vice President of Digital Sales & Strategy at Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), where she led digital operations across streaming and third-party platforms. She also built SBS’s third-party digital division from scratch, generating nearly $1 million in revenue during its initial launch.
"StreamGuys sits at an exciting intersection of premium audio, technology, and data," Kalvort said. "I build strong, consultative relationships with agencies and brands, give them relevant targeting and clearer measurement, and at the same time make sure publishers are getting more value for their inventory. There's a huge opportunity here, and I'm excited to lead it."
Meanwhile, Martinez, who has spent nearly two decades at StreamGuys, has been promoted to EVP of Technology. In this expanded role, he will mentor and guide technical teams across the company, while driving innovation in streaming and media services through strategic partnerships and key initiatives.
