Cinnafilm has announced the immediate availability of IPx LIVE and Tachyon LIVE, which together provide broadcast-grade, real-time IP video transcoding and motion-compensated standards conversion for major live sports and events.

Built for the fast-growing live IP video market, IPx LIVE is a powerful transcode engine supporting SMPTE 2110, SRT, NDI, and TR-07/08. Integrated with Cinnafilm’s award-winning Tachyon technology, it provides artifact-free frame-rate and format conversion—even in high-motion sports— minimizing artifacts when moving between 60fps and 50fps.

Fully software-defined and infrastructure-agnostic, the solutions run on-premises, in the cloud, or hybrid with NVIDIA GPU acceleration, freeing broadcasters from rigid, aging hardware boxes while reducing costs and enabling instant scaling from anywhere.
