In a new collaboration between the Saudi Music Commission and Audio & Music at MBC GROUP, the first season of The Laughta Likes Show will launch on MBC LOUD FM on November 7, 2025.

The English-language radio and podcast program is presented by international artist and music influencer Laughta.

The show is designed to highlight Arab voices and showcase emerging musical talents shaping the Saudi and regional music scene. Drawing on her experience as a global artist and creative storyteller, Laughta sets the tone for the program with an artist-first approach that blends global influences with local creativity. Through her unique perspective, the program connects audiences with the human stories, inspirations, and artistic processes behind the region’s evolving music landscape.

In addition to the radio broadcast, the program will also be available as a podcast on Shahid, MBC GROUP’s leading streaming platform in the region. Both formats will spotlight new and emerging music creators from Saudi Arabia and beyond, combining storytelling, entertainment, and edutainment. While the podcast offers in-depth conversations with each guest, the radio show emphasises their music, creative journeys, and personal experiences, providing listeners with an interactive mix of dialogue and discovery.

Ziad Hamza, Group Director of Audio & Music at MBC GROUP, said: "This program represents a creative collaboration between MBC GROUP’s Audio & Music department and the Saudi Music Commission; a partnership we’re truly proud of. It reflects our shared goal of supporting local and regional talent, by empowering them, and giving them exposure both in the Arab world and internationally."

Hamza added: "We're also proud to collaborate with the talented global artist Laughta, who connects strongly with younger audiences and helps bridge global sounds with local stories; in line with the Music Commission’s efforts to empower homegrown talent."
