ITV CEO Hosts North West Media Roundtable

ITV Chief Executive Carolyn McCall recently convened a high-level roundtable in Manchester, bringing together television industry leaders and local government representatives to explore strategies for driving investment and sustaining the North West's position as a global media hub.

Held at Versa Studios, the event provided a platform for collaboration between key stakeholders across broadcasting, production, creative industries, policy, and studio operations. Participants discussed opportunities to strengthen the region's media ecosystem, encourage economic growth, and support the development of world-class content.

Participants included Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, Leader of Manchester City Council Bev Craig, Founder of Quay Street Productions Nicola Shindler, Founder of Rope Ladder Fiction Cameron Roach, Head of BBC North Heidi Dawson and Chair, Samantha McMillon, Chief Operating Officer Quay Street Productions.

Following the discussions, guests enjoyed an exclusive screening of Quay Street Productions' Lazarus (now on Prime Video), with leading actresses Alexandra Roach (Jenna Lazarus) and Kate Ashfield (Detective Alison Brown) in attendance.
