LiveU To Demonstrate Mission-Critical IP-Video Solutions

News Image
At Broadcast Asia 2025, LiveU will demonstrate its latest mission-critical IP-video solutions within its expanded EcoSystem, designed to add efficiency and shorten workflows for any live production.

LiveU will present its complete portfolio across live contribution, production and distribution, enabling broadcasters, sports organisations, and other video producers to lift production values and grow audiences with creative live content.
LiveU’s IP-Positive, modular EcoSystem allows producers to easily configure and redeploy components across different workflows, providing unprecedented flexibility for evolving production needs. The EcoSystem is underpinned by LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT™), ensuring rock-solid reliability and low latency over cellular and other IP networks.

LiveU will highlight its flagship portable 5G contribution encoders including the multi-cam portable LU800, and compact LU300S, allowing high-quality, reliable transmission of 4K/HD content with ultra-low latency (ULL).

Changing the economics of production, users can quickly and easily scale from a lightweight cloud production to a full remote production. LiveU's remote production (REMI) solution leverages LiveU’s contribution encoders, sending live feeds to any selected destination via LiveU’s station decoder or cloud channel. LiveU will demonstrate how REMI workflows are made more efficient using its remote live production tools, seamlessly integrated with LiveU field units. These include: IP Pipe, Video Return, Audio Connect and Tally Light. The company will also present its On-Site Production solution, allowing broadcasters to deliver high-quality live feeds from the field directly to production trucks.

Other show highlights include:
Lightweight Cloud Production – keeping broadcast operations agile and innovative
Making fully featured, professional live sports production accessible and affordable for every event size, this latest solution seamlessly integrates LiveU's portable 5G bonded video encoders with LiveU Studio, the company's cloud-native video production service. It provides an affordable and quick route to get fully synchronized multi-cam sources into the cloud and out to digital and linear audiences. The LiveU Studio user interface is built with operators live production priorities in mind, increasing speed and efficiency. Live storytelling is enhanced with an intuitive interface, robust toolset, and sports-centric capabilities, such as instant replay and ISO recording.

LiveU story-centric workflows – processing video faster and cutting production costs
LiveU’s story-centric solution is becoming an integral part of the production process deployed by leading broadcasters. At the core is LiveU Ingest, the automatic recording and story metadata tagging solution, allowing producers to accelerate production whilst reducing budgets. Part of the newsroom revolution, LiveU Ingest offers enhanced features like LiveU Record and innovative workflows and cloud collaboration with other best-of-breed vendors.

LiveU Matrix, the company’s IP cloud platform – for cost-effective IP distribution
LiveU Matrix enables users to manage an exponential number of live feeds and share them with global audiences, without the need for a dedicated infrastructure. Both LiveU Matrix and LiveU Ingest were used by major broadcasters for live coverage of the 2024 US election.

Visit LiveU on Stand 5B4-1 (Elevate Broadcast) and Stand 5H4-4 (Media Architects Pte Ltd) to experience hands-on demonstrations of these innovations and discover how the LiveU EcoSystem transforms production workflows.
